Hair Resource hair-resource.com Permanent Hair RemovalDon't you feel like hiding away that 'hair-there-everywhere'? Having more hair than that on the body of a bear could be a genetic or hormonal imbalance. This could be caused by medications like steroids or hormones, polycystic ovarian syndrome or even higher androgen levels. It is really embarrassing to have hair at all unwanted places like the cheeks, neck, upper-lip, stomach, back, back of your hands, feet, and other prominent areas of your body. Waxing them off, shaving them, applying irritating crèmes, using epilators, and what not is a big hassle. The worst thing is that hair comes back within days of its removal and you have to repeat the cycle. Is there something like permanent hair removal? Not really, as it is advertised on national daily's and magazines. Though they call it permanent hair removal, but the fact is that no treatment is a complete guarantee. The hair is removed to a certain extent, but not forever, not permanently as it is advertised. There are different techniques of "permanent hair removal". Use of chemicals, electricity, and lasers is done. It could be a combination of one or two. Electrolysis is considered a good way of permanent hair removal. In the process a hair-thin metal probe is put into the follicle of a hair without damaging the skin and an electric pulse is given to that. In this way, the follicle is made inept of producing any more hair. The problem with this permanent hair removal system is that it is done on every hair follicle and takes a lot of sittings. This way it becomes a very expensive method. It may also cause a lot of discomfort to the skin. Thermolase is another permanent hair removal method. A laser is used in the process where beams of light treat a larger area of hairy skin. The process is less painful than thermolysis, but is more expensive. Whatever choice you make, just be sure that you've consulted a doctor before getting permanent hair removal. |
